Hosanna Children’s Home is a registered Charitable Children Institution (C.C.I) as well as a Community Based Organization(CBO) established in 1998. The organization is situated in Ngochi village, Githunguri Sub County, Kiambu County.
The main objective of the organization is to take care of needy children by providing basic needs such as food, cloths, shelter, education and even spiritual nourishment.
Our Programs
Education and vocational training
The center promotes the education of the OVCs through; early childhood education, school enrolment and skills building through vocational training. The center is committed to support education through:
Payment of school levies for basic education
Provision of school uniforms and other
Health care and sanitation
The center endeavors to promote high standards of hygiene by ensuring that the child’s health needs are met. Some of the activities carried out to ensure this is achieved are;

Shelter and care
The center has boarding facilities for the children. It has two dormitories which have enough beds and enough mosquito nets. The children are closely monitored by house mothers. In terms of security, the center has security personnel/ watchman and three dogs for guarding the compound both day and night.

THE NEEDS OF HOSANNA CHILDREN HOME
Hosanna children Home just like any home has very many needs because of the diversity of the children it hosts. The leading need are education in nature. At the moment, we only have partial payment of school fees for 4 students only courtesy of EXPANSION INTERNATIONAL. It has been a real struggle to keep the children in school. We have been saving on the food costs to pay fees. This has not been enough and it has seen our children at home most of the times for school fees. The home currently has no mode of transport as the only one we had got involved in a very serious accident. The home intends to come with income generating activities (I. G.A.).This will revolve around farming. In order to do any meaningful farming, we need a steady supply of water which we currently lack
Construction of our dream home
in order to offer the best care and provide a conducive environment for the stay of the children, we propose to construct a new dream home. We are requesting our partners, well wishers and the community at large to support us. You can channel your support in form of finance, building materials, Professional expertise, etc
